Try to get more Vitamin A in your diet, if you suffer from dry eyes. You can eat salmon, sardines, or eggs once a day. Alternatively, take 10 000 IU of vitamin A with 400 IU of vitamin D daily. Make sure your supplement is made from fish oil. You can reduce this dose to 5000 IU of vitamin A, once symptoms have subsided.
Pregnant women should check with their doctor before taking vitamin A.
Take 2 tablespoons of flaxsees or fish oil daily, as these contain omega-3 fatty acids.
