BANGALORE, Oct 20, 2009: The Hmars Students Association (HSA) Bangalore branch is organising its annual sports day on October 30, according to the organisation's officials.As per the latest member list prepared by HSA, over 180 people have registered for the upcoming one-day event to be held at Hunnur Bande Bible Seminary Ground.
"There are some more people who are yet to give their membership fees. We are expecting over 200 members," HSA official told Inpui.
Members have been divided into three groups -- Ngahrangchal, Keichal and Muvanlai-- each having a patron member and team leaders.
According to reports, some indoor events like carom, chess, etc., are already underway. Besides football there will be games from spoon race to tug-of-war.
HSA has appealed to all Hmars in Bangalore and Mysore areas to register themselves and take part in the event.
