Ruonglevaisuo estuary in Tipaimukh along Manipur-Mizoram border is of great cultural importance to the Hmar tribe of North East India. According to Hmar elders, this estuary was considered 'Pielral Kawtsuo', a place where the dead departs from earth to begin another journey.
