Rengkai/Aizawl: The date for next round of preliminary talks between Mizoram government and Hmar
People's Convention (Democratic) has been fixed for October 5.
Civilian representatives of the rebels for the second round of talks have been confirmed, according to informed sources.
The venue, however, has been changed from Chaltlang Tourist Lodge,
Aizawl to State Guest House, Aizawl.
Our sources tell us that the new schedule was sent to HPC-D officials in writing by the SP Office, CID (SB) Mizoram.
HPC (D) will be represented by Pu Lalțhalien, Dr. John Pulamte, Pu Lalthlamuana Hmar, Pu David
Buhril, Pu Thangliensung and Pu Lalmalsawma Darngawn.
Useless! If they are not going to accept Hmar Autonomous District Council what is the point in having talks???????
