A budding rapper from the Hmar community, J. Salemthar Sungte (aka Jas Sungte) has composed and written many songs in English. He has also performed at various social events (One video is given below).
Jas is planning to bring out his first music album with his crew "Dropsquad".
A hotel management graduate, Jas is from Shillong but lives in India's commercial capital Mumbai.
