The Hmar Hills stretching along the Manipur-Mizoram border is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. A home to the Hmar indigenous tribe, the region offers beautiful landscapes with a huge potential for promotion of eco-tourism industry. However, the irony is that the Hmar Hills, comprising Sinlung Hills in Mizoram, the Vangai Range and Hmarbiel in Manipur, is one of the most neglected parts of India where the government machinery has completely collapsed.
