Sinlung FC enters BMA League Semi-finals

Bangalore, Sept 7, 2009: Hmar Students’ Association (HSA) sponsored Sinlung FC players have kicked their way into the semi-finals of the Banglore Mizo Association Football League 2009 (BMA League).

The match between Sinlung FC and Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology FC played on Sept 5, at Austin Town Playground ended in a draw, placing the former ‘King of Group B’ with highest point.

Tv. Muan scored the single goal for Sinlung FC and team captain Tv Zairemthang was declared ‘Man of the Match’.

Sinlung FC will now take on Chukchuz FC. The schedule for the ‘showdown’ is yet to be announced.

Speaking to Inpui.com, Tv Zairemthang said: “We do not see Chukchuz FC players as a big threat. But we’ll give our best.”

Former HSA, Bangalore Branch, secretary Tv Solomon Hmar will take care of the refreshments this time. It may be noted that the 'energy drink' refreshments for the final match has already been booked by ‘Mother of Bangalore Hmars’ Pi Nancy Morton.
