The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court pronounced its judgment on the Babri Masjid-Ram Temple title suits today afternoon by suggesting a three-way solution.
Main features of the verdict:-
- *Property to be divided between Hindus and Muslims
- *1/3 for Sunni Waqf Board, 1/3 for Nirmohi Akhara, 1/3 for Ram Lalla
- *Hindus to get part where idols are kept
- Division of land to start in three months
- Building was not used by Muslims to pray: Court
- Disputed structure cannot be treated as a mosque
- Disputed site is birthplace of Lord Ram
