Pu Laltlansang Hmar, son of Sri Khupkam Hmar of Tuolpui, under Mahur Police Station was born January 2, 1973.
He was the President, Hmar Youth Association (N. C. Hills and Karbi Anglong) Member, Hmar Inpui (Supreme House). He is associated with various social organizations like national Service Volunteers.
He contested with ASDC ticket from Jinam valley constituency of NCHAC and won the seat.
He is the first person from Hmar community who own the election with ASDC ticket.
